The Friends of St Paul's is a registered charity (1062648) set up to support the maintenance and improvement of St Paul's Church, Culham, and its surroundings. Since it was founded in 1997 it has provided approaching £7000 to the Parochial Church Council (PCC) toward the cost of church repairs. This year mains water will be connected, and simple kitchen facilities will be provided in the north-east corner of the church, at a cost of around £6000 borne by the Friends. It is hoped that this will be followed by provision of a toilet, bringing wider community use of the church closer.
The Friends of St Paul's committee has ordinary meetings every three months, and an Annual General Meeting (AGM). The public are welcome to attend. The last ordinary meeting was on Thursday 18th May 2006, at 8.30pm at the Lion, Culham. The Friends' AGM will be on Friday 23rd June at 8pm, in St Paul's Church, Culham.
